Considering the importance of transport to the wellbeing of Māori social housing residents

Māori living in social housing bear the burden of mobility inequity through limited access to transport. Māori social housing residents rely on multiple forms of transport to access their surrounding urban environments. There are concerns surrounding Māori inclusion in novel transport solutions. Successful transport solutions come from a place of co-design, with Indigenous peoples as partners in decision-making.
